A Very Warm Welcome awaits you at the Parish Church of
St Peter & St Paul, Church Road, Hockley
Announcing our new vicar!! The church family at St Peter & St Paul is delighted to announce the appointment of their new Priest in Charge, Father Kenneth Havey, formerly Rector at St Clement’s, Leigh-on-Sea. Fr Ken was installed by The Rt Revd John Wraw, Area Bishop of Bradwell, on 12 March 2013. He has also taken up the role of Rochford Deanery Vocations Adviser. Do come along and welcome him into his new role at our Sunday Holy Communion services, at 10am every week.
The Parish Church of St Peter and St Paul is situated in attractive countryside on the outskirts of the village of Hockley, but is more than a historic church in a beautiful location. As a place of worship for over 800 years the church continues to serve the community of Hockley, where you can expect a warm welcome every Sunday at 10.00am for a weekly celebration of Holy Communion.
What better place can you imagine for your wedding, to give thanks for the birth of your children or bring them for Baptism; and the church is also here for you when you experience illness or bereavement, caring for all aspects of family life…
